OUR SCHOOL OF THE WEEK - TRINITY LUTHERAN SHEBOYGAN

It’s back to school for Trinity Lutheran School and Childcare! This year, our back-to-school night featured an open house, dinner together as a school family (from 3K-8th grade!) and a magician on the playground in the evening. It was a night full of fun and fellowship. Trinity is a special place to be as we continue our mission to “Make Known the Love of Christ” this school year.  Enrollment is open all year long, so check us out at http://www.trinitysheboygan.org/ or call to set up a tour and see our amazing staff in action!

OUR SCHOOL OF THE WEEK OOSTBURG CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

OOSTBURG CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
has a new Mission and Vision statement!
We will work every day to keep our mission and vision
clear and concise

Mission Statement

The mission of Oostburg Christian School is to partner with the home and the church in providing a distinctly Christian education in which students learn about God, His Word, and His world in order to develop a heart that is prepared for a lifetime of service to Jesus Christ.

Vision Statement

Following the Lord’s leading, the vision of Oostburg Christian School is to provide a rich educational environment that builds godly character and nurtures our relationships with God, self, and others.  As image bearers of God in a broken world, we seek reconciliation with others, and practice good stewardship of our time, gifts and possessions.

Oostburg Christian School will establish relationships and discourse between our school, the home and the church to prepare children as they grow in their knowledge of God and his world.

Oostburg Christian is enrolling now for the 2017-18 school year.  We offer a 3K-8th grade program with students from all over Sheboygan County.

OUR SCHOOL OF THE WEEK! SHEBOYGAN COUNTY CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL CAMPUS

Our SCCS high school campus has many great opportunities to prepare students for college and career readiness.  In addition to core academic classes for college readiness, we offer a variety of electives including art, music, industrial arts, and computer science, among others.  Our Bible portfolio program keeps our students accountable in incorporating Biblical worldview into every subject and incorporating service into their lifestyle.  Extra-curricular and Co-curricular opportunities include soccer, volleyball, basketball, football, baseball, golf, forensics, and drama.  In addition, we have a variety of clubs, such as Service Club, Book Club, Chapel Team, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  Our mid-year Discovery Term offerings allow students to explore a variety of subjects and service opportunities, including a trip to 7 Bridges in Atlanta, Georgia.  We are working hard at preparing our students to impact the world!

In addition to offerings, we believe our school climate stands out among others.  When families tour the SCCS campus and randomly ask students to share about their experience at our school, they consistently share two things.  First, they love the smaller climate where all students feel like they are a part of a big family.  Freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors alike spend time together; students respect each other and enjoy being together, no matter the grade.  Second, students feel that teachers are approachable and easily accessible to work with them when they need help.  Students feel supported by their teachers.  School feels good to our students.

OUR SCHOOL OF THE WEEK! ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN PLYMOUTH

On February 17, 2017, St. John Lutheran School conducted our annual “Pizza Fundraiser.” Members of our school and our congregation get together annually to make over 4,500 ready to bake pizzas. The proceeds from the sale benefit special projects in our school. This year’s proceeds will go towards putting new flooring in all our classrooms. It’s one of the many ways that our school community pulls together to make us stronger.

OUR SCHOOL OF THE WEEK! CHRIST CHILD ACADEMY

PARENT TESTIMONIAL

"Every parent's wish is that they are able to give their children the best preparation for life that they can, which is hopefully as good or better than their own.  My husband and I both went to parochial schools and value the experience highly.  Our three daughters all attended CCA and for five years all three of them were in school at the same time.  In my opinion, the first rate education our girls received at CCA is directly correlated with the success that they have had in high school, and hopefully in college and in their future vocations.

More importantly, the faith based education and participation in religious activities offered at CCA, such as service days, volunteering at nursing homes and cantoring during church services, has demonstrated to them what it means to be a Christian.  It is a profound and satisfying feeling to know CCA is responsible for not just what these kids know after graduation from 8th grade, but also who they are as people.  They are Christians!  The kids I know who graduated from CCA, as a group, are some of the most kind, thoughtful, gracious young adults that I have met.  They are all great role models for my own daughters to emulate, and hopefully become.

OUR SCHOOL OF THE WEEK: St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton

With Jesus as our model, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School’s mission is to guide each individual student to God. We believe in creating a religious environment with an academic challenge by providing our students with the tenets of our Catholic faith in order to grow successfully as Catholic citizens in society. We believe the education process must reflect a Catholic faith presence shown by our example, attitudes, service, values, and interactions with all whom we come in contact.

OUR SCHOOL OF THE WEEK! St. Paul's Lutheran Howard's Grove

In response to God's love, St. Paul's Lutheran School seeks to instruct all children with a high quality fundamental education centered in Christ by sharing God's Law and Gospel through His inerrant and inspired Word.  We will strive to excel as a resource for parents, charged to instruct their children in the path of God's wisdom, to know their Savior and be rooted in strong Christian values.
