Sheboygan Student Wins Statewide Essay Contest
Ethan Winter, an eighth grader at St. Paul Lutheran School in Sheboygan, son of Dan and Heather Winter, has won the 6th–8th grade division essay contest for Lutherans For Life of Wisconsin. Middle school students from various schools throughout the state entered life affirming essays that centered around different life issues such as adoption, abortion, and the value of life at all ages. In his essay entitled Women’s Choice? Ethan wrote, “Even before we were born, God knew what would happen in every moment of our lives.” Ethan is receiving an award certificate and a check for $150 from Lutherans For Life of Wisconsin.
